Great Resort
We just returned from the Marriott 11/21/10. You will not be dissapointed. Everyone was amazing down to housekeeping. The most impressing part about the trip was that everyone on the entire island were so nice and friendly. Everyone on the island truly understands what drives their economy. As a tourist you are treated as everyons best friend. The Marriott was great because my wife liked laying on the beech as I expierenced some of the best snorkeling in the water in front of the hotel. Rent a car so you can see more of the island and enjoy resturants but drive carful and always look both ways because you drive on the left side of the road. Great light breakfast spot is the internet cafe across the street behind the Gas station, they have free internet. Also for a big breakfast is Cimboco which is also behind the gas station. Great lunch or dinner is several miles north of the hotel on the beach, called Alfresco. Simple but great food at a great price and great view of the beach and water. The best dinner on the island is Calypso Grill which is a short drive to Morgans Harbor. The best dinner but $$$$. The Marriott food is also good. The turtle farm was a highlight of our trip which is also a short drive. Cab rides will cost you a small fortune if you want to leave the hotel. The car was a good idea but do not use Hertz. The Airport has all the major car rental companies. Have fun, we will return to the Marriott. Also try to get Ocean front or Garden View but not 1st floor because some of the first floor rooms are not private.

The staff were always very attentive, and could not do enough to be of service.
